Designing for Mental Health Support
As the UX Designer for WePractice, I had the opportunity to delve into the world of mental health support, crafting a platform that connects individuals with licensed therapists. This project was guided by a deep understanding of user needs, prioritizing accessibility, empathy, and simplicity at every step. Designing for such a meaningful cause reinforced the importance of creating intuitive and supportive experiences that truly make a difference.
At WePractice, I faced the unique challenge of designing user flows for individuals who might feel overwhelmed or hesitant to take the next step. Understanding the needs of users navigating mental health support, I crafted pathways that were as simple, reassuring, and non-intrusive as possible. This process required balancing functionality with empathy, ensuring that every interaction felt natural and encouraged users to move forward at their own pace.
